What is Cancer Related Fatigue?
Cancer Related Fatigue (CRF) is a side effect from cancer therapies, like chemotherapy and radiation therapy. They leave patients with a feeling of whole-body tiredness that is not relieved by rest or sleep. Fatigue can prevent a person from functioning normally and impacts a person’s quality of life. Cancer Related Fatigue, one of the least treated symptoms, is reported to have a prevalence of 58-100%, but it is treated less than 5% of the time.
